Blueair’s HEPASilent™ filtration process captures 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 micron in size. Airborne particles pass through a chamber of the Blueair air purifier to get electrically charged before passing through the gradient structure of the filters, causing the polluted particles to adhere effortlessly to the filter media. The filter resists clogging and won't re-release particles back into the air, even when the filter is heavily loaded. Blueair filter media is ultrasonically bonded to prevent filter fibers and other particles from escaping back into your environment, and is naturally antibacterial to prevent bacteria and mold growth. The filters are recyclable. Replace every 6 months.
- Millions of ultra-thin fibers woven into progressively tighter layers trap progressively smaller particles.
- Filters resist clogging without releaseing captured particles, thus maintaining airflow and peak filtering performance.
- Filters are water-resistant, naturally antibacterial, and non-toxic. Thermally bonded media is free of chemical binders, and is environmentally friendly, breaking down into carbon dioxide and water.
